Darkness, a source of fear and fright to the hearts of man. You could not see, nor hear what is beyond the borders of this prison. It is useless to interrupt your thoughts from your fate. The radiant beam of light from the rising sun awakens me with its bright ray beaming at my closed eyelids. Lying down on the comfort of my own bed, I slowly opened my eyes. From a blurry to a clear image, I stared at the wooden carved ceiling for a few minutes. Afterwards, I raised myself up from bed in order for me to sit. I placed my feet on the wooden floor, bent down, and rubbed my face to get the “stardust” out of my eyes. I looked at the clock which was on top of the door frame and it reads 7:30 in the morning.
“Man, waking up late in the weekends as usual.” I thought as the minute hand began to move slowly to another minute.
I stood up, did a few stretches, and headed outside to the backyard for some morning exercise.
